How to Set Group Share Permissions in bucketZero Workspace (bZw)

Create and manage Sharing Groups and Group Folders.

Users now have enhanced flexibility to create and manage their own sharing groups with custom permissions, giving them greater control over folder access. This significant improvement allows users to tailor their access settings to meet the unique demands of their projects and teams. Myota BucketZero (bZw) custom groups enable users to quickly create groups on demand based on their specific needs, whether it’s for a temporary collaboration on a project or a long-term team effort.

This feature not only streamlines the process of group creation but also empowers users to take ownership of their data management. By allowing users to form groups based on criteria that are most relevant to them, Myota BucketZero fosters an environment of flexibility and responsiveness. Meanwhile, group folders offer a more structured and organized method for managing group access, ensuring that users can efficiently navigate and control who can view or edit their shared resources. This combination of custom group creation and organized folder management enhances the overall user experience, making it simpler to collaborate effectively while maintaining necessary security protocols.

Group Shares

This new feature empowers non-admin users by allowing them to not only create sharing groups but also to tailor the permissions for each group based on their specific requirements. Users can define who has access to their group folders, whether it be read-only access, edit permissions, or full control. This level of customization ensures that sensitive information remains protected, while also allowing for collaboration among team members. Moreover, by enabling users to manage their own groups, the system reduces the administrative burden on IT staff, leading to a more efficient workflow. As a result, users can respond quickly to changing project needs and team dynamics, fostering an environment where collaboration can thrive without unnecessary delays.
