How to share files with external recipients?

Using Myota bucketZero Workspace you can share files with an “External Guest”.

To share files with external guests in Myota bucketZero Workspace, you can easily create guest accounts directly from the share menu. Simply input the recipient's email address in the "Invite Guests" section, and they will receive an email containing an activation link. This link will allow them to use their email as a username and set a password during activation to access the shared files.

To begin this process, locate the file you wish to share and select the "Sharing" option. Enter the recipient's email address in the "Search for share recipients" box, labeled "Name or e-mail…", and click on "Invite guest".

InviteGuest

After adding the recipient's name and clicking "Invite user and create share", the guest user will receive an email notification with a link to set their password and access the file.

When the recipient receives the email, they can either choose to "Activate Account" if they want to view the document at a later time using their set credentials or select "View share". If they opt for the latter, the session will expire once the document is closed, making it inaccessible. It's important to note that the share link is unique to the recipient and cannot be shared with others.

E-mail

After clicking on the "Activate account" link in the email, the recipient will be directed to a secure webpage where they can create their password. This password will be used to access the shared files in the Myota bucketZero Workspace. It is important to choose a strong password that is unique and not easily guessed to ensure the security of the account and the files being shared. Once the password is set, the guest user will have full access to the shared document and can view or download it as needed.
