In bZw - Managing Email Notifications for File Sharing

Each user in the Myota bZw environment can customize their email notification settings.

Every user within the Myota bZw environment has the ability to customize their notification preferences. To disable or to change email alerts settings for each time a file or folder is shared—whether internally or externally—users need to manually modify their Activity settings in their accounts.

Each User can adjust these settings individually through the Myota bZw web interface by using the following steps:

  1. Log in to Myota bZw.
  2. Click on the avatar (or initials) in the upper-right corner, then click Settings.
  3. In the left-hand sidebar, under Personal, click General.
  4. Scroll to the Activity section.
  5. Under the Mail column:
    • Uncheck the box next to:
      "A file or folder has been shared"
      "A file or folder was shared from another server"
      "A public shared file or folder was downloaded"

(These control email alerts related to sharing.)

Note* Changes are saved automatically.
